New deal: Bishop has signed a new four-year deal

Ospreys centre Andrew Bishop has signed a new four-year contract with the Welsh region.

Bishop, 23, made his Wales debut during this summer's two-Test South Africa tour, and he follows the likes of Shane Williams and Gavin Henson in pledging his long-term future to the Ospreys.

"Andrew got his reward for an excellent year when he was called up for the South Africa tour, and I am sure that the experience will be of immense benefit for him this season as he looks to push on to the next level," Ospreys coach Sean Holley said.

"The centre position is one where we have strength in depth, and I am looking forward to seeing Andrew providing real competition for the likes of Gavin Henson and Sonny Parker over the coming season and beyond."
